Auditions & Self-Tapes · One to one · Zoom or in person

Audition tomorrow? Tape due Thursday? Agent wants it stronger?

Whatever’s landed, I can help.

Send me the sides and I’ll have analysed them before we start — every character in every piece, their entire journeys — so I can create the most powerful and effective objectives for you to play. We go straight into the work.

Harrison Booth — “Got the job. And the same casting directors keep coming back with more auditions.”

Have we worked together before?

No — new to me? Your first session is two hours. £100.

Heavily discounted so you can be introduced to the technique independently of your material. Then we work on your material. Hour one is the fundamentals — the core concepts and the exercises you’ll actually use. Hour two puts them straight onto your piece.

Your experience determines how quickly we move — it may take more than two hours, and extra time is charged at the standard £75 an hour.

Yes — in class, the Intro, or an Intensive? Straight to the hourly. £75.

Book ahead and it’s £75, whatever day it is. Same-day or overnight, it’s £105.

What happens in the session

Come to work ready to work.

Just like in class — I’ll want to see your version first. Then we cover: bottom-lining your objectives; getting you totally connected to who it is you need it from — substitution; every one of your inner objects and inner work, incredibly specific — greatness is in the details; then your inner monologue.

Unlike in class, all the attention is on you. If you’re giving birth, dealing with a gunshot wound, drunk, high, killing or raping someone — anything heightened and difficult, we go over and embed so you can really go there. In a fun and healthy way, no matter the time limit.

I can read in, tape you, tape with you, and direct while you film. And when you’ve recorded it, send me the tape — I’ll come back with notes from a directorial angle before you submit.

Alina — “I did not know how to work that script. I’d happily send this tape to the casting director.”

Sofie Theobald — “I feel more prepared. I’m ready to do this.”

Straight answers

How quickly can you see me?

Book ahead — 24 hours’ notice — and it’s £75. Same-day is £105 and needs four hours’ notice. I need time with the text first, because that’s what makes the session worth the money.

What do you need from me?

Everything: the breakdown, the sides or full script, and any notes from your agent, the casting director or the director. You’ll upload them when you book.

Can you tape me?

Yes. I read in, tape with you, and direct while you film — same hourly rate.

Can we do it in person?

Ask. In-person sessions are by enquiry.

The material is dark or heavy.

That’s a large part of what I do. We find what’s at stake, make it personal, and set you up so you can let go safely and play — and put it down afterwards.

What if we need longer than I booked?

We can keep going. Extra time is charged at the session’s hourly rate and settled at the end.

Want the process, not just this tape?

The Studio Class is where you stop needing them.

Send me the sides. I’ll have analysed them before we start.
