The Two-Day Tape · Two days, one to one, in person
Most self-tape sessions hand you a camera and an hour. You turn up, you shoot, you leave with a file. This is the other way round: we build the performance first, and the tape is what comes out of it.
Day one. Ninety minutes on Zoom. We take your sides through the first five steps — the objective, the obstacles, the substitution, the inner objects. You leave with a script that tells you exactly what to do.
Overnight. You rehearse it.
Day two. You come to the studio and we film it together, with me directing. As many takes as the work needs. You leave with the tape.
£295 for one scene of up to three pages. £425 for two scenes, or up to six pages. Send me your sides and I’ll tell you which one you need.
Why two days
I will have read your material and worked through every character’s journey before we start, so day one goes straight into the choices rather than into the reading.
Then you sleep on it. You rehearse it. By the time you stand in front of the camera the performance already exists — and the filming is about catching it, not finding it.

Questions
What do I need to bring?
Your sides, two printed copies, and a change of clothes if you want one — garments that suggest the world of the character rather than a costume. Nothing hired. A sense of it from what you already own.
How many takes?
As many as the work needs on day two. That is what the flat price is for.
Do I get the file the same day?
You leave with the tape.
Which price am I?
One scene up to three pages is £295. Two scenes, or up to six pages, is £425. Send the sides before you book and I’ll confirm it.
Do you tell me which clips to send on?
Yes. Guidance on exactly what to share with industry professionals is included.
What if I have never worked with you before?
That is fine. Day one starts at the beginning of the technique.
Where is it?
In person, in London. The address is shared once your date is confirmed.
Age policy?
21 and over.
